Volunteer

As a registered charity LHA recognizes that volunteering should be valuable work experience for the individual as well as a benefit to the organisation. We offer individuals training and work experience in a variety of roles within our hostels.

Housekeeping – Domestic duties, room cleaners.
Catering – Kitchen, dining room.
Front of house – Office, reception.
Portering – Night porters, general porters.
Night Porters – Night supervisors, reception.

All that we ask is that you are willing to commit 20 hours a week for a minimum of 6 weeks to your tasks. In return we will provide you with meals and accommodation for the duration of your volunteer employment.
