new mansion eco-site
At LHA London we are looking closely at our Eco-Plan to improve and reduce our waste.
New Mansion is going to be our first eco-site. We are looking at upgrading the energy management system that controls the boilers, to ensure that we maximise the energy efficiency of the boilers and heating of the building.
We are also looking at other ways of saving gas by using magnet technology.
We are also looking at converting all the lighting in the common areas to energy efficient lights. We are in the process of insulating the roof space; this will further help keep the cold out and the heat in. We have also installed save-a-flush bags into the toilets cisterns, saving on average 1Litre of water per flush.
